NiniiA regular gift to charity means you can make an ongoing difference to the work that your favored charity does. It doesn't have to be a large amount, but whatever you can give, whatever its size, whatever it is, every charity is grateful for any support you are able to provide.

As members of the community, we have a responsibility to help those who are less fortunate and contribute to the common good. I feel this so strongly that it's been a longstanding practice of mine to donate my time, groceries, stationer as well as food to charitable organizations. In some years, I admit, this has been a lot less money than other years, but every little bit truly helps when it comes to good works.

I really enjoy the intangible benefit of giving. Giving back to the community gives you a pleasant feeling of connectedness and the satisfaction of at least trying to make the society we live in, a better place.

Many charities get very little or no help at all from the government and they rely entirely on the generosity of the general public and businesses to enable them to continue with their service, support or research. Every charity values and appreciates your support and sacrifice, whether it's financial, or by giving up your time.

Kickoff Soccerbabe together with Hand-to-Hand (organization) are organizing a concert on 3 August 2013; the point of this is concert is to help the less fortunate of Rainbow Children's village in Westedene, Johannesburg being the beneficiary.

The home is not getting any form of support, they live on donations. The concert is to help ease the burden; all proceeds will go to the children's village. We have donated clothes, shoes and food to the home, but more food and clothes especially jerseys are needed in this cold weather. This concert - featureing local talent - will take care of all of that.

To make this concert possible we need your help. Donations (clothes, food, ect) and sponsorship will be highly appreciated.

Concert details:
Date: 3 August 2013
Venue: Wits, Great hall (Johannesburg, South Africa)
Time: 19:00 to 22:00
Tickets go for R120 and can be bought @ computicket.
