Beloved Wedding Anthem readers, did you know that Mi Casa absolutely believes in true love? Read about their upcoming second album and quest to redefine to socially constructed notions of love.

What a privilege to have them on our site! Dear bloggers, readers and fellow compatriots from far and near, please welcome Mi Casa onto your screens!

In one sentence, who is Mi Casa?
A South African soulful house trio made up of three guys, namely J'Something, Dr. Duda and Mo-T.

Briefly, please tell our readers a little bit about you...
We are a house band that consists of a DJ who plays live keys, a trumpeter and a vocalist. We started this thing which is now known as Mi Casa in July 2011. Since then we have opened up for John Legend, Drake, Kool and the Gang and many more. We were nominated five times for the 2011 Metro FM Awards, nominated five times for the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and walked away with the prestigious Song of the Year Award for our debut single "These Streets", Best Group and Best Dance Album. Our debut album has also reached platinum status. Every single released has gone number one on every major radio station in the country. Also, we were recently honored to play at President Barack Obama's Inauguration.

Can you please tell your fans what you have been up to and/or what's next?
Well, the above statement kind-of describes what we have been up to over the last year and a half. Other than that we have been gigging around the globe and also currently working on our second album which is due to drop anytime between June and August this year. We have a very busy year ahead, so we are working hard at achieving all the goals we have set out for ourselves.

How do you find a balance between what you do and who you are?
It is something we have taken very seriously since the beginning of this band. We have worked hard at remaining true to ourselves and not changing given the industry we are in. So to answer this question honestly, it really isn't hard being YOU. We haven't changed and don't change on or off the stage.

We celebrate love. Do you think true love exists? If so, Who/what/where is it?
I tweeted from my personal account the other day stating that I'm so disappointed with how modern society has blinded us from believing in true love and that my goal is to write music about things that people don't believe in anymore, namely true love, happiness, purity and having one partner in life. I believe this is my purpose as a song writer on this earth. We as a band celebrate love and believe in it 100%! This is not the normal message you hear nowadays in music or in general.

Do you think there is still a place for marriage in this day-and-age?
Of course. We need to fight for values and morals to remain in today's society. Marriage is a very important constitution that was designed by whom we believe to be God. It's there for a reason. Just like kids should go to school. Or that we should look after ourselves. Its not a MUST, but it is there for a reason. It makes us better people.

Anything else on your mind?
We have a very big passion for this topic. We want to be a band that people look to and begin to believe in things unbelievable, thanks to modern society.
