Dearest Wedding Anthem readers, here is Jermaine!

In one sentence, who is Jermaine?
Jermaine Riley is a creative and passionate singer, song writer, entertainer and Graphic Designer from South London, UK.

Can you please tell our readers a little bit about you...
I entered the music industry as 1/3 of UK R&B group Fun*dmental aka FDM. We toured with the likes of Sugababes, Nelly, 112 and Omarion. Opened shows for Fantasia, Jodeci, Missy Elliott, Jagged Edge, Ray J, Fabolous and Lemar to name a few. Were nominated for a MOBO for Best Newcomer in '07. Got signed to Geffen/Interscope in the US, which lead to being signed to Ne-Yo's Compound Entertainment company. Unfortunately, we parted ways in April 2011 due to business.

Since then, I've written and featured on Chipmunk's last album "Transition" on the song "Then And Now" produced by Dready, got a new manager, released a mixtape "Nine Ten Eleven: The Refixes" and a free album "Hello Earth", which has had 150,000+ downloads since January and went on to be sold as a physical CD in over 600 major record stores across Japan in July, through P-Vine Records.

My next mixtape "Ten Eleven Twelve", was just launched. I hope all my supporters enjoy it.

Can you please tell your fans what you have been up to and/or what's next?
I've just been busy making music. I'm excited about "Ten Eleven Twelve" and my next album. They're very emotive projects that should give a deeper insight to me as an artist... and a man.

The mixtape's almost finished, just three songs to go. I want everyone to go and download it! The album should be out around Autumn/September next year, fingers crossed. I've got a few surprises up my sleeve for my heroes before then though. You'll have to stay tuned!

How do you find a balance between what you do and who you are?
It's hard sometimes because it's just my manager, Faron McKenzie and I putting in the work. There's no label to help the campaign move forward, so it's all on us and we rarely get time to relax.

I have to steal time for myself, with a little voice in the back of my mind saying I'm going to lose momentum if I stop. However, sometimes I need to slow down for my own sanity, otherwise everything becomes a blur and I can't focus on anything anyway. So it's definitely tricky.

We celebrate love. Do you think true love exists? If so, Who/what/where is it?
I definitely do. When you find yourself being passionate, fiercely protective and slightly obsessed with what it is that's making you happy... I believe that's true love. You'll do everything in your power to keep that thing in your life and it's always worth the struggle. Whether it's a person or a profession, it's the thing you can't live without.

Do you think there is still a place for marriage in this day-and-age?
Of course! I think that union is important. Everyone needs someone. I don't believe those who say they don't. We're human beings. It's in our nature to desire a partnership with another. If you find someone that ticks all the boxes for you, don't be a fool. Hold on to that one. Single life sucks and can't hold a candle to being in the right relationship.

Do you have a message to Wedding Anthem?
