"Love is patient..." (1 Corinthians 13:4[a], New Living Translation)

So many things have been written about love. We read in popular culture about how love is magical, changes people and crosses all sorts of divides (racial, geographical, physical and digital divides).

Love is portrayed as this fast, bubbly thing. Yet the Word of God (Bible) says love is patient. I know things are not moving at your desired pace right now, but love is patient. I know you may not yet be where you thought you would be by now, but remember that love is patient. That partner may not be making progress right now and in stead seeming worse, but remind yourself that love is patient.

How often do we frustrate God? How often do we reject Him in public, ignore to do His commands and not love others the way that He loves us? Yet He, God, Love Himself is patient with us. God is patient with me. Love is all in all for Love is Christ Jesus Himself.

Thought for the day: Love is patient. May I not forget that. May I practice patience with others and myself. May I not be deceived into thinking that love is fast and out of control because love is patient.

Prayer: But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:8)

woman_sliding_down_a_cave_with_a_rope"This is God’s Word on the subject: “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." (Jeremiah 29:10-11, The Message)

Thank You Jesus for reminding me that you KNOW the plans that you have for me and that they are ALL to prosper me and do me good. Right now, I tap into my heart and believe you. I am not going to wait until I can see all the plans rolled out, but believe your good plans even now. I believe that You want me to be happy. I believe that You have great plans for me. I believe that You love me.

Thought for the day: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Prayer: Halleluah

daydreaming"For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2:11, American Standard Version)

Christ is born! The Messiah is here! Rejoice! Dance! I have been set free!

There's no greater gift, no greater sacrifice! God in flesh! No longer shall we be alone. No longer shall we be separated!

The LORD is come.

Dance oh broken hearted! Sing oh forgotten one. Burst into song oh barren one. Our help is come! Christ is here. Everything is changed. Our warrior King, Peace Himself, Hope of heaven is here!

Thought for the day: Jesus came and made all the difference in my life.

Prayer: Thank You Jesus for being born in the flesh for me. I accept Your gift of eternal life. I have decided to follow You Jesus. You are all in all. My life. My hope. My joy. My everything. Oh Jesus! Oh my Jesus! Halleluah to the King! Thank You God the Father for sending Jesus! Thank You Holy Spirit my Counsellor. Jesus thank You for living in my heart and never letting me go. You changed my life forever. You are my Life.

Doll"My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise." (Psalm 51:17, New International Version)

Even though it may seem like there's nothing of value that I have for You, I have something inside. It is not much. In fact, it is broken. All that I am is in my heart.

Thought for the day: Jesus loves and accepts broken hearts.

Prayer: Jesus.
