trust"Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me." (Psalm 23:4, Amplified Bible Translation)

You are with me.

Thought for the day: God is with me. I am NOT alone. I may have suffered loss and lost loved ones, but I am never alone. Your rod and staff they comfort me for You are with me forever.

Prayer: JESUS!!!!

hospital hand“You are my hiding-place and my shield; in your word I put my hope.” (Psalms 119:114)

Where do you hide when the bills are due, hospital bills are mounting, health is frail, relationships are breaking and there’s no end in sight?

Where do you run to, to catch your breath and recover? When everything is falling apart, where and what is your escape?

Do you terrorize your family and become an angry lion and someone to be feared? Do you turn to drugs, alcohol and smoking to ease the pain and escape for a while? Are you engaging in sexual escapades in a desperate search for love and settle for junk and beatings? Are you the popular one at night clubs and porn shops or the one secretly there because you have given up on God?

What do you do when things are spinning around and around and won’t stop? Do you beat up your partner to reinforce a false sense of control? Are you the bully in the home? Are you writing a suicide note or considering consulting with spiritual mediums and traditional healers/witch doctors?

Run to God child of God. Put your hope in Him alone. He will not fail you. Be encouraged. Take heart. God can be your hiding place and shield if you allow Him to heal you and take charge. This is all a divine plan to bless you. Run to God. He sees. He hears. He loves. He saves. He Is. I AM.

Thought for the day: Where do I hide when things are falling apart?

Prayer: Your Name is I AM

worship“…Let no wrong have mastery over me.” (Psalms 119:133[b])

Oh Jesus, let no wrong have mastery over me. Let no sin control me. Let me not be enslaved to secret sin. Here I am LORD. Deliver me Jesus. Set me free. Establish me and make my step firm according to Your promise and great love for me.

Thought for the day: Overcome.

Prayer: Let no wrong have mastery over me! In the Name of Jesus. Amen.

fire"But then they said to each other, 'We shouldn't be doing this! We have good news, and we shouldn't keep it to ourselves. If we wait until morning to tell it, we are sure to be punished. Let's go right now and tell the king's officers!' " (2 Kings 7:9, Good News Translation)

The four lepers had a SUDDENLY moment. Just like that, things turned around. One moment they were starving and about to die and the next moment, there was instant turn-around. They were hopeless - go back to the city and die of famine or stay here and die. Rather than sit and wait for death, they went to the enemy's camp to give themselves up (See 2 Kings 7:3-4).

Unaware that victory was foretold by the man of God, their "divine frustration" pressed them on. They reached a point of no return. Things got so out of hand, they had to move on, go forward, even if it meant going to the enemy's camp.

At times we cry when things get so out of order, that we seemingly have no choice, but to move forward. What they did not know is that it was all a divine setup to bless them. God had orchestrated it all. Not only that, He went ahead of them and prepared rest and abundance for them right there in the enemy's camp.

When they got there and found loot too big for them to consume in their lifetime, they did not hide it, but acknowledged that surely there's more to this than just feeding our own gluttony. They understood that God did not just have them in mind, but all of His people.

He is not just my Father in heaven, but our Father in heaven. God blesses us to be a blessing.

Thought for the day: "When they arrived in Samaria, Elisha said, “Lord, open the eyes of these men so they can see.” The Lord opened their eyes, and they saw that they were right in the middle of Samaria! When he saw them, Israel’s king said to Elisha, “Should I kill them, my father? Should I?” He said, “No, don’t kill them. Did you capture them with your own sword or bow? Do you have the right to kill them?[a] Put food and water in front of them so they can eat and drink and return to their master.” So the king gave them a great feast, and they ate and drank. Then the king let them go, and they returned to their master. After that, Aramean raiding parties didn’t come into Israel anymore." (2 Kings 6:20-23, Common English Bible)

Prayer: JESUS! Amen.

cute“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26-28, Authorized King James Version)

I made you. This morning as I woke up, I felt a gentle whisper slow me down. God simply reminded me over and over that “I made you.”

This is a truth that can take a lifetime to figure out. What does it mean? Only God knows. It is for us to ask Him. If we search for Him, truly search for Him with all our being and hearts, surely we will find Him. For He resides inside of us. Emmanuel – God with us.

I made you… Surely God does not make inferior children. We are the workmanship of God, Creator of heaven and earth. If I can trust certain brands to use quality parts and test their products before handing it over, how much more a God so awesome!

I am made by God. Whatever you are tackling, surely God made you tougher. You have the tag of “made by God”. He cannot and will not fail you because you are the work of His hands. Made in His image and likeness. Made tough. Just as children in the natural always contain some genetic composition of the father, we contain the very substance that makes God, God in our composition.

Peter stood on water at His command. Lazarus stood up against death at His voice. Hear His voice today.

“I made you,” declares the LORD.

Thought for the day: I am made by God. "I made you." says the LORD. God takes ownership of me.

Prayer: God, I acknowledge that You made me. I hear You reassure me that “I made you”. Lead me Holy Spirit, lead the work of Your hands. Thank You for making me with love, to love me and give You joy. I love You Jesus. Thank You Father. Halleluah. Amen.
